Mine doesn’t say “headers” anywhere. Seriously.

I am curious if when you receive an email through craigslist, for an ad you have listed, if the sender’s IP is listed in the email header? Or because it is sent through craiglist’s system, the IP is only for craigslist?

I sent a email to a company on Sunday.

But the next day I received a auto reply message in afternoon time.

Shouldn’t you get auto reply message straight away not a day later???

Did that person choose to read my email and put it in their inbox?

Maybe that the cause that my email was in their spam folder but when they read it, they may put it to their inbox and that why I get auto reply message a day later.

Can you help here or what is wrong?

I had an interview today at a job that is very important to me! I am crossing my fingers and praying that I get the job because I need it! It is at a major bank company. The interview went great, but as with all other jobs there are several more people to be interviewed for the position. I wanted to write a follow up email of thanks and appreciation. Any tips on what to include in these? Also what should I put in the subject line of the email? Thanks for all the help!!!

I started the yahoo account to answer dating service emails annonymously but I see where my full real name is on the top of every email I send out. How can I remove it or at least change it to protect my privacy??? Help!!!

The interview is four weeks ago, I sent an email to follow up one week ago, but did not get response.

Should I send another email to follow up? (I get the oral offer on the interview day, but never received any notification after the interviw)

My original application email had the subject line “Potential Internship”, so for this one, should I put “Re: Potential Internship”? Or can “Re:” only be used in reply to someone else’s message (does it stand for “reply” or “regarding”?) If so, what should my subject line be?

I have a spreadsheet I use a lot, and recently hit the ‘Email To’ icon when I meant to hit ‘Print’. Now I’ve got a 4 line header for email instructions at the top of my spreadsheet. I’ve looked at many icons and dropdowns, can’t find a way to get it out of my spreadsheet view. Any ideas?

an interview opportunity?? I’ve been hoping to work for that organization since senior high. I recently just got my MA and found the org’s recruiting entry-level employees. For one job they offered, I really think I could be a nice fit-in.. I therefore sent them my resume, and an autoreply message told me to wait. It’s been 2 wks now, and I feel my chance’s getting slimmer; yet I don’t want to just give up. I feel a strong desire to reach someone real — can I write to its VP?

Is there anyway to change the from-header of email. I use gmail and I change the “reply to” email but the from-header still show my real email if people want to look. What is a way to change this data to hide away the real email address?
